Representing Perth's Chinese groups is the Chung Wah Dance Company. The company was formed in 1980 with the objective of promoting and preserving Chinese culture within multicultural Australia. The troupe performs classical and contemporary Chinese dance including the 'Han' and folk dances from a number of Chinese provinces. Chung Wah Dance has performed at a number of events including Chinese New Year and Oz Concert.
