Our main goal is to reignite individual hope, creating a worldwide movement of unearthing the light through darkness. By celebrating, sharing and offering the Festival of Lights as a means of inspiring hope and spreading joy through a myriad of creative multicultural experiences.
Our mission as an event is to reignite the spirit of Deepavali by supporting people in all corners of the world through these challenging times by supporting communities through donations, and providing a digital space to immerse, enjoy and interact with multicultural experiences.

Annalakshmi on the Swan has been serving Perth sumptuous vegetarian Indian cuisine for over a decade. Almost a household name, Annalakshmi is an alcohol-free restaurant with a unique concept of enabling and encouraging volunteers to serve patrons with the motto, “Guest is God” (Athithi Devo Bhava).
Annalakshmi welcomes guests from all walks of life where one pays what his/her heart feels. This facilitates the generosity of some to do a noble deed of providing for the less fortunate through the services of Annalakshmi.
The secret behind Annalakshmi’s mouth-watering food is that it is prepared by experienced and skilled vegetarian cooks dedicated to this ethos.
Annalakshmi On the Swan has, since its establishment, has been a strong advocate of eating for your health, organising cooking classes, cooking demonstrations and talks on wellness.

Over the past 25 years, SMV along with its sister organisation; TFA (Temple of Fine Arts) have been a sanctuary for culture, performing arts and education since our inception in 2005, by Swami Shantanand Saraswati.
SMV is dedicated to the promotion of culture and the fine arts in Australia and beyond; transcending age, cultural, social and geographical boundaries. SMV follows the principle of ‘Arts for Art’s sake’ and ‘Serving humanity through arts, culture and education’, and it has strived to make the fine arts and culture accessible to all. SMV works on the principle of collaboration and inclusiveness and we regularly work with artistes within the cultural community of Australia and internationally, on joint works and productions. SMV and TFA, through performances, workshops and classes have contributed significantly in educating and exposing art lovers everywhere to a diverse range of dance, music, culture and heritage. SMV and TFA have staged internationally acknowledged dance and music productions such as Swan Lake, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lady White Snake, Ramayana, The Legend of Mahsuri, Naad Brahma and more.
